Orthodontics with an Airway Approach — Sleep Utah

Orthodontics with an airway approach

Straighter teeth by day. Better sleep by night.

By day

Aligners.

Clear aligners, made by us, straighten your teeth through the day.

By night

The Ripple.

A retainer that holds your airway open — quieter breathing, deeper sleep.

Two devices. One plan.

By day, aligners we make in-house move your teeth. By night, the Ripple treats the airway behind the crowding. Around the clock, nothing wasted.

Why it works

Crooked teeth are a clue, not a flaw.

Crowded teeth usually aren’t a cosmetic accident. They’re often what happens when the jaw and airway don’t develop the space the mouth needs. That’s why we start with your sleep and your breathing — the root — instead of just moving teeth around.

We straighten your teeth
in only a few months.

No brackets. No wires. Aligners by day, an airway retainer by night — keep scrolling to watch it happen.

An honest comparison

How it compares to braces and aligners.

The daytime looks familiar. Clear aligners, worn through the day — the same modern orthodontics you’d get anywhere.

The nighttime is the difference. Everyone else hands you a plain retainer. Ours treats your airway while you sleep.

The cause gets treated, not just the crowding. Braces and aligners straighten teeth. They don’t touch the airway behind the crowding. Ours does.

Braces and aligners straighten teeth. So do we — and we fix your sleep while we’re at it.

No guesswork

What to expect.

Follow-up & fine-tuning

Questions

Fair things to ask.

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe an adjustment period of a few nights, similar to a new retainer — pressure, not pain. If something feels wrong, we adjust it.

What’s it like to wear?

Aligners come out for meals. The night retainer goes in at bedtime — most people adjust within a few nights.

What if I only care about my sleep, not my teeth?

Then skip the aligners entirely — the night appliance alone treats your airway.

What if I only care about my teeth?

Then the aligners do that job — and your night retainer quietly does more than hold the result.

How long until I notice something?

Sleep changes tend to come first — often within weeks. Tooth movement is gradual by design; it happens gently, night after night, and every mouth moves at its own pace.

What does it cost? Does insurance cover it?

Every case is different. Call us and we’ll walk you through pricing and your insurance coverage: 801.960.9667.

What about kids?

We treat kids too — see children’s orthodontics.

Sleep first. Everything else follows.

One phone call. A few honest questions. Then a plan that works day and night.
